St. Lawrence Market's history is over 200 years and back to 1803. It has North and South Markets. North Markets are the weekly farmer's markets and antique markets. South Markets host restaurants, St. Lawrence Gallery and lots of shops for foods. The Hall interior is very unique and it is good to hold the wedding banquets and events.

It was the Christmas Day and warm. We went here with very smooth traffic during holiday.

Then we went to The Stables, part of Casa Loma. As a new comer of Toronto, the "castle" is not usually in the centre of city. They are usually on the hill, ain't they?

I just don't understand why Takashi are so popular in Contemporary Art now. I read his works and just found that they are just about the Japanese game & comic stuff, can't smell the "original". He is also invited by LV to implement his art into the products. Therefore, I read his books.

Too bad that I don't know Japanese, reading the Chinese translation makes him confuse in some terms. I wish it will have english version so that I make sure that I wouldn't get it wrong. After reading one of his book, I have understood more about him and his work. Something I did really agree with him but not for some other things. Does he really want to be another Andy Warhol? I am not really fond of Warhol's work, I must admit that he got good connection and he is good at PR.

His idea on converting the popular Japanese culture into art is good. Also, people like cultural thing, especially there is regional difference.

In case I forgot, I need to bring out some points:

1/ Is commercial also an art? This was once brought out by Andy Warhol.

2/ Takashi hired staff to finish his works, can we say those works were created by him? It has been happened to Rubens and some other artists. Therefore, it is very hard to define if the pieces are worked by the artists themselves.

3/ Composition theory
I really cannot figure it out the composition theory explained by Takashi. I am not sure if the problems lied on the translation of the book or what.....

Ka Wo Li, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong

We go to Ka Wo Li where is near the Gold Coast in Tuen Mun. I was used to go to Gold Coast Hotel for friends weddings but I do not know there is an old village nearby. Only few minutes walk from the Gold Coast Hotel, we reach a small village "Ka Wo Li" where has a small river looks like Tai O.

I think the painting can be improved and start working on PS to play around the proportion, colour and composition. Some friends told me that it looks a bit scared. The shadow is too muddy.

I try to change the colour tone to be lighter. Then I change the proportion of the owl, girl and lotus. The left side is nearly done. More details on the left and on the reflection. The moon's size and position are changed as well. The owl is bigger. The objects now are close to each other. This is the Stephi's face.

Suddenly I want to draw my nieces, Stephi and Julia, into my painting. They are cheerful kids with different characters. Stephi is more emotional with lots of thoughts in her mind. She learns everything fast but not necessary step-by-step. Julia is simple and she has high concentration. Stephi is a bit frippery while Julia is more practical. I want to use two different styles with using the girl and owl as the key elements for my painting.

In the layout you have found that Stephi is looking at us. It seems that she wants to tell us something. The owl is watching her. Who has found who then?
The proportion between Stephi and the lotus is exaggerated. This creates something unreal which implies "frippery". It happens at night when the thought flows most.

手稿中雪雪在荷花林中，回頭看著我們，好像在告訴我們一些事，貓頭鷹高高在上看著他。到底是誰找到了誰？
荷塘與雪雪的比例誇張了點，想有一種不真實的感覺，就是想浮一點。情境就在晚上，令人思潮綿綿不斷。

Try to use wet-on-wet technique on the background.
I have watched my video on wet-on-wet demonstration by those watercolour masters. It looks very easy. I doubt because of the unknown effect. Anyway, I damp the paper and try the wet-on-wet effect. And, I am quite happy with the water reflection. The rest are a bit out of control. I was really enjoy watching the colours blending together.

試用Wet-on-wet 的方法做背景。
這個看水彩高手做好像很容易，但是做起來很猶豫，因為不肯定出來的效果是怎樣，我把水彩紙弄濕，嘗試著這果效果，我頗滿意水的反影，其他的地方郤有點失控，但也很享愛看著顏色化在一起的過程。

Then I paint the lotus. That is not very hard as I am not doing the master grade lotus painting. I need to decide the distance between the individual lotus to the viewer so that to create the depth of the scene.

My first time to paint the owl. Their eyes look like human eyes. I like the feather. I paint it in orange tone and want to echo with the girl's dress.

這是我首次畫貓頭鷹，它們的眼晴和人類的很相似。我用了橙啡色調，打算和女孩的裙子一樣色調以作呼應。

The girl is painted and I refined the colors and some details in the pond. I got the result basically but I want better.

03 :: Tomatoes

I paint on Saunders paper for my tomatoes. I have found that I need to use very saturated colours for blending so that it would fade out after dried.

Again, I like watching the colours blending into each other. It is very hard to me to create shadow and highlight, light and dark colours altogether with using the glazing technique. You need to be very determined, fast and accurate in using the colours. I need to paint more red after the paper less damp to make the tomatoes more reddish. The right most one looks like an apple without the leaves. However, I like its reflection. I prefer the life drawing.

Most watercolourists use either Saunders or Arches, which one you prefer and what are the differences?

02 :: Carrot and Fruit

I like painting carrots. After the tutor demonstrated the carrot painting, I follow the instruction to paint the carrot like a drawing machine. I have painted more than 10 carrots during the class. Watching the colours blending with each others is interesting. You will find out the blending is different even you use the same blending method. Learn to control the blending is not easy.

Then I try to paint a group of fruit with different colours. C'est difficile! If you want to blend the shadow as well, it is more difficult. I am wondering how the master can do the blending altogether!
In this exercise, I have found out that the blending effects of different colours combinations are different. Some blend faster while some don't. Some merge in each other while some seems "overlay" on the others. Also, some colours look grey after they dried. Two different colour tones are difficult to blend well! Hard ! Hard! Hard! I need to work harder.

01 :: Oranges

The beetle and the oranges
After the 1st class, I painted 20+ oranges on the watercolour paint and I have found that it is not that easy if you want to glaze the colour perfectly everytime. I have found some references to paint this watercolour for the practice on the water and colour control. It has been very different from the way I painted before. I have found I dare to use stronger and single colour. I was used to mix the colours. The glazing way is improved though my way can achieve the same result. However, "my way" is not guaranteed all the time. And I got the water stain!
I put a beetle on the leave to make it more interesting.

The bee and the oranges

This is another watercolour exercise. The blending of the colours is improving. I like the highlight on the oranges, but the background colour can be improved next time.

真是意想不到，竟然會跟游榮光老師畫水彩。

認識他是讀書時期在書局的水彩書本中看到他的作品，當然他不認識我，那是他一系列很厲害的生果作品，看過的都會記得。在香港時也很想找個老師學水彩，希望找到一個就一直學下去，反而在多倫多遇到個水彩大師。我給他看過我的作品，其實我也明白他的評語，一矢中的，其實他有幾矢中的，說出我的弊處。知道還知道，要改進還是雖要指導，由於一直都是自學形式，所以可以說，我是沒有基本章法。要畫什麽，就看書或上網去看看人家怎做，自已就練著做著，好處是要用自已去消化，壞處是做得不對也很難抖正，因為就算知道問題所在，也不知如何改善。

所以還是由基本學起，畫色輪，畫橙。很奇怪的感覺，因為即使以前在學校的畫畫堂，第一堂就素描，一畫就是由幾樣東西組合的構圖，好像從未如此基本過。香港就是這樣，要快要速成。不過老實說，就算要我化一個色輪同一個橙，都不是容易，因為我本身畫水彩的方法，是自已的方法，有時也不是自已控制到的。而且對於一向淡彩的我，一下子用回鮮色，也有點不習慣，所以也愈畫愈淡。

另外，當我拿出我那水彩出來時，他就明白為什麽會淡彩，我用的是寫生常用的磚裝顏料，而他們用的是支裝的，看來，我要動用的的水彩基金了。

We went to Unionville again. This place is so beautiful with lots of scene for sketching. And it's very close to where we live. The leaves are in green and red colors are very distinctive.

There were brides and grooms for photo taking. It was only about 13C and we can see the brides were shaking.

我們又來到Unionville,這個有二百年歷史的小鎮風景很美，是寫生的好地方。在這個建築物前面有幾棵樹，葉子的顏色很特別，紅葉綠葉。

附近有幾對新人在拍照，只有13C的下午，我也感受到穿上婚紗的新娘在抖震著。

It was raining today, we went to Starbucks in Unionville to have coffee and chat. The shop is in a village house with 2 storeys. There are beautiful trees with different colours of the leaves.

Today I went to the artificial lake in Unionville. It was about 9C. As a person from Hong Kong, I feel it's winter now. Sun was shining and I feel warm under the sun. 2 weeks ago, I was in Lau Fau Shan, Hong Kong for sketching. Today, I am in Toronto and doing the same thing. The difference is no mosquitos here. Sitting on the grass, I could not find any insect. Some people jog here.

Owing to the low humidity, the watercolous dries fast, I need to draw faster. The maple leaves around the lakes are in red, so beautiful. There are some geese and ducks swimming. When I was drawing, there was a duck comes. Maybe she wanted to take a sun bath. Sometimes the flock swims towards me, I feel so countryside.

And I think I cannot go outside soon as the weather is too cold to me.

今天去了Unionville 的人工湖寫生，氣溫只有攝氏9度，對於一個剛從香港來的人，我已覺冬天來了。陽光很猛，但感覺溫暖。兩星期前還在流浮山寫生，今天已到了Toronto寫生。這裡沒有蚊釘，坐在草地上，好像也沒有昆蟲。不時有些人在跑步。

由於濕度低，水彩好快乾，要快手上色。湖邊楓葉轉紅，很美，加上湖上有很多鴨鵝，好有詩意。寫畫時，有隻鴨子上了岸，可能是晒太陽，之後有一群游過來，真是很郊外。

可是天氣對我來說很寒，能出外寫生的日子不多，要等天氣回暖才可以到外寫生。

Gulianyu, Xiamen

I have spent few days in Gulianyu, Xiamen. It is a small island with lots of historical buildings from 19th century. Some famous houses were the embassies from other countries. To visit the island, only about 30 minutes from the Xiamen pier to the Gulianyu pier by ferry. For the reason of the environmental protection, there are only 4 small motor cars, around 22 electrical vehicles which can carry about 11 peoples. The islanders travel around by foot.
We walked around from the hotel after we arrived and found a cafe owned by a family. Their house is in old style and was built 80 years ago. We ordered some snacks and drinks and sketched a building in the opposite.

The scene is so beautiful and we found we were in another times. One thing I must said that the drinks we had were not good, tastes were very "chemical". The fried pumpkins had no taste at all.

It was about 6 pm when we got the sketch done. We walked around and reached the centre. There were lots of shops, cafe and restaurant. We tried to get to the electrical car stop to take it. However, it was closed when we got there. We needed to walk to the hotel in another side of the island, it takes about 30 minutes. We were extremely exhausted.

We woke up early next morning and headed to our targeted area for sketching, around Jishan Road. I found a nice old house in flat share. It was a cloudy day and rained in the early morning. The path was wet. A girl left her home and walked on the path. Suddenly, she slipped in front of me. I passed her a tissue paper and checked with her if she got hurt.

We had a fish ball noodle in soup as our lunch and then I went to Sanqiudian Pier to draw the coast. I was very tired of drawing the buildings. Sitting on the bench near the seaside and watching to the sea is really really relaxing.

There was a girl wanted me to draw a portrait for her when I was drawing the pier.

We then headed back to the hotel. This time we could catch up the electrical car.

The last day, I did some line drawings on streets.

The hawker was selling the souvenirs. Looking to the opposite coast of Xiamen with skyscrapers, this small island is really calm and peace, like a garden behind a city.

很高興可以參與今次展覽，是個很美好的回憶！

今次展覽的作品有不同的風格和用了不同的媒體，有油畫，水彩，水墨，單線畫，油粉彩，塑膠彩，數碼畫等。大開眼界。會員風格各有特色，題材亦很廣泛。平時出席寫生活動，看到的都是小部份的作品，在畫展中，看到會員及前輩多方面的才華，大開眼界，自己亦得益不少。

由於平日要上班，只能於週末在會場當值，所以放置一本小筆記本，希望各位留言指導，亦可作日後留念。今天畫展結束後才一一細閱，真的很窩心，朋友及畫友們都給予指導及鼓勵，也有朋友同家人到場支持，有些朋友亦是很久沒見面的，這令我更有動力，多謝大家。

參與今次畫展真是很高興，和很多作品原作者拍照留念及交換心得，彼此友誼又增進一大步。我買了劉先生的一本畫冊，之前見過已很想擁有，不過不好意思請求送贈，今次會場有售，當然不會錯過，立即請劉生簽名留念，心情有些像小粉絲。

不知覺間，自己亦有種推廣寫生的使命，所以亦跟自己的朋友推廣一番，事實上寫生真是樂趣多，又可養生，又經濟。

今次展覽有個有趣的情況，就是送來的花藍，有四個都有錯字，我們的名稱是「香港寫生畫會」。有個變成了「香港寫『真』畫會」，有個是「香港寫『作』畫會」，有個則是「香港寫生會」，漏了個「畫」字，另一個是把送花藍的人的姓氏寫了錯別字。會長都替這些花藍改了錯，他的「手術」做的很成功和原本的字體很相似，如不細心留意，也不知道做過「手術」。

最後，我們一眾影了一張大合照，會長一番話令我很感動，我對他更加專敬，他真是一個很好的會長。

茶果嶺

茶果嶺是香港的舊區，我們在藍田港鐵站步行至茶果嶺村大概要15分鐘。

我們在附近走了一圈取景，天氣時晴時陰，村內到處是窄巷。太近的，對我們來說很困難，因為透視會較誇張。整條村的屋以鐵皮屋為主，很有特式，有些是磚屋，相信是原有的建築，由於鐵皮不善隔音，左鄰右里基本上是沒有秘密的。

我和朋友決定在有檐篷的地方坐下取景寫生。我選了一條通向馬路的巷景，兩旁有屋，沒有太豐富的色彩，但構圖頗佳。天陰晴不定，時有驟雨，但總算完成。畫的時候，心也在想，這些屋雖有冷氣，但外牆物料曅竟是鐵皮所造，尤其是下雨，一定很吵耳，可能還會漏水呢！

Cha Kwo Ling is one of the old districts in Hong Kong. We walked from Nam Tin MTR Station for about 15 mins to there.

We took a walk around the village, the weather was not fine, there was a hard shower. Lots of alleys in the village. It is hard for us to sketch the scene where is too close to us because the perpective is hard to catch precisely. The houses in the village are mainly made of iron plates, very unique as a whole. Fews are made of bricks that could be the orginal houses built years ago. As the iron plate is not a good material for noise isolation, there is no secret between families.

We find a place with the canopy and sit down for the sketching. The scene I picked is an alley to the road, there are houses in both sides, not very colourful. However, I like the composition. There were sunshines and showers. During sketching, I was thinking even there is air condition in the house, but the material built is iron plate, it must be very noisy in raining days. Perhaps it leaks too.

心法

港台製作的功夫傳奇系列，除了令我對中國傳統功夫有進一步的認識外，還領悟到要追求更高的境界，是在內。在外是形，形是死的。情況有如繪畫一樣，要似要像，就是苦練，像是學功夫，勤練就學得像。但是去到提升、變通，就覺得前面一道牆，很高、很濶、看不到前面會是怎樣。就是很多基本的都學過了，如何突破自己是很難的事情。
如其中一集談及到少林的武功，著重的是「禪武」，是種修行，比試的時候不是想著如何勝利，反而冷靜，反而通！
凡谷的向日葵，是禮物而已。卻是現今最有價值的藝術品之一。剛看過的吳冠中先生的作品，亦是一些平常身旁的景物，生活簡樸，保持頭腦簡單，專注著自己的修為，似乎就像是功夫與藝術中要突破自己的心法。

向吳冠中先生致敬

吳冠中先生於上月逝世。五月，我看了趙少昂先生的畫展。這些都是近代中國畫的大師。看吳先生的作品特別感動。那種親切、執著、對藝術、對創作及不斷創作及突破的精神，很值得我們學習。他的成就，除了是本身的天賦外，亦是他的努力不斷對藝術的熱誠和投入而來，在展覽館外，正中對著門口的，是我從前一看就未忘的「雙燕」。那種像平面設計的構圖的水墨畫，很獨特，有寫生速寫的味道。平靜的構圖有雙燕子，靜中有動。一進場館，看到一篇吳先生的手稿，是「速寫與懷孕」，第一句已把我攝住了:「速寫寫形、寫神、寫情。捕捉素材、捕捉感受、捕捉構思構圖。」
就是這樣，就道出了畫是美了，為何還是欠了一點，只是形似、沒神、沒情，還是不夠。他亦寫得一手好文章，話題亦很吸引我。我坐著看了一連幾輯由香港電台製作的吳先生的專輯，很感動、很鼓舞，一生，對創作還是不斷創新，沒有太多對別人的批評，只求自身的突破。
沒有華麗的創作室，沒有奢華的生活，作品郤是一代的代表。從十多歲,本來要走工程師的道路，郤往藝術裡走去，近乎八十年的功力，都在作品當中，至少能讓我不斷反思,尋求突破!

連理樹

今天去了大埔泰亨村寫生，我們早上在太和港鐵站集合，然後一伙兒乘的士直接往泰亨村。進村以後，會長為我們介紹了一下泰亨村的歷史，據說，此村仍為文氏之原居地，祖先為文天祥的後人。在村口附近，有文天祥像。村內亦有幾所被荒置的書塾。祠堂十分古色古香。

我們邊行邊取景，經過了荷花池，塘中有幾朵荷花，十分動人。遠處看到了天后廟。會長指著前方說前面就是連理說，我看到前面都有好幾棵樹，真是不懂哪棵方是連理樹。我問會長哪棵才是連理樹，他說兩棵生長成一棵的，便是連理樹，這時我方知連理樹的由來。

Swimming

I went to swim this morning. The weather was wondering and it was the 1st time to swim in this season. There was less people in early morning on Sunday. Before I went there, I went online to check the price and the opening hours. I have found that the entry free for the public swimming pool in NT is 2$ more expensive that in HK and KLN.

My arms are paining after only 15 minutes swimming. After half an hour, I felt so tired and I went home to take a rest.

維園及避風塘

今天一大清早，與畫友去了西灣河寫生。可惜大雨滂沱，走了整條海濱長廊，也找不到一處可避雨的地方。於是，我們便決定到中央圖書館藝術館看書，估不到那裡有些座位是靠近窗，我們都分別選了兩個座位。看到遠處維多利亞公園及避風塘，便畫了一圖畫。我把旁邊的高厦及天橋省掉，樹下郤加了兩個人拿著傘。

Nice weather again. About 15 minutes walk from Tai Po Market MTR station, we reached this village.

This is a little temple for the porcelain masters.

Thanks to Mr. YK Chan's advice. He put the shadow and showed me how to draw the trees. It enhanced the drawing a lot.

Loving Sha Tin

I went to cycling with a friend. The weather is bad these days, either too hot or rains hard. Last night, it was just perfect. From Regal Riverside to Science Park, we stood near the coast, watched the sky and the sea. We saw the stars on the sky. My friend was complaining that they could not see any sky on the event days of turning off the light near the harbour side. Yes, too much electricity in Hong Kong. We were enjoying the darkness and the quiet of the night. The opposite side is Tai Po. We saw some lights from the highways and buildings. We saw the reflection from the sea surface. We counted the stars over the star. I felt so treasure under the nature. I was so wonder that I never thought about cycling at night in Science Park where I was still living in Tsuen Wan.

Thanks the nature, heal our hearts!

Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery 萬佛寺

This morning, we went to Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery for sketching. We climbed up the stairs. There are two ways to get there. One is about 400 stairs, another is about 500 stairs. It is a really good exercise. When I was in front of the temple, I felt I cannot speak and my heart rate was so high. The scene is nice and there is a Kwun Yin status with pearl white colour in front of a small waterfall. It is so pretty. I drew a hill side with some golden status.

Meeting with smart leaders

Today it rained so hard! But there were lots of people attending the seminar that really inspired me a lot too. You will hardly think about these smart and outstanding persons would just in front of you, telling you about their experience, value and life too. You read their names or stories on the webpages or news, or magazines. Just very far from you, but today you even had a chance to ask them questions. I was lucky that I had the chance to know this seminar and got a place to join in. For sure, it did value a lot in my life.

The first speaker, Mr N Mark Lam. Simply know him as a author of a book named "China Now". But he is an important person that to turn a enterprise from a serious ill to heathly situation. He is a Chairman, Executive Committee & CEO of Live 365, the world's largest internet radio network based in U.S.A. Also, he was a US Presidential elector in 2000 and 2004 in . The most amazed me is not the Powerpoint content that we used to see in the public speakings or seminars, it is at the end of Powerpoint that he did fit all these theorotial issues into his real situation. Also, he shared a lot experiences that how he and his teams met difficulties and problems. He said, one thing, I do think it is important, which is "Focus on opportunites rather than problems".

People nowadays always saying "it's impossible or it's too difficult or it doesn't work at all"...etc. When they spend too much time on make these kind of conclusion. They start digging a hole download and put their heads into it. Where is the opportunities? where is the way? This is the point hit to my head today in my life at this moment as I feel myself is trying to dig a hole. I must remind myself.

The second speaker is Dr. Lawence T Wong, Former Chief Executive Officer of The Hong Kong Jockey Club from 1996-2007. You can see he went through the difficult time in Hong Kong when the time he was in HKJC. Before he joined the HKJC, he was working in Ford, an automobile company in US. He simply knew nothing about horse racing at the time he took the post in 1996. His background is interesting too. He was trained as a engineer in machanical background. Then he got Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, which are really different from what he is doing now.

Few things I would like to share here.

He said, first of all, you have to have a very clear vision. Then you have to be a good communicator and form a top management team, which support the same vision and share the core belief. He used the sample of the HKJC. Their vision is to serve their customers. It is customer oriented. The management team should have the same belief so that they will go to the same directions.

He also explained the diffference between "manager" and "leader" which I also want to share.

Manager is to do the right things while leader is to pick the right thing (make a right decision, I think)
Manager uses power to motivate people while leader influences people.
Manager controls things while leader inspires.
Manager forms the rules while leader is a self-example.
Manager plans things while leader innovates.
Manager refines while leader revolutes.
Manager re-organizes while leader invents.

He quoted some researches results and I found one was interesting. He said that the critieria of "salary" in the satification of a job is just at the rank of 5-6. The top fews are "Appreciation, Recognition and sense of belongings".

Another interesting sharing is "Monkey Therory". When people get a monkey on their back and they knocked your door and said, " Hey boss, I got a problem that I don't know how to do". If you simply solve their problems and that means the monkey jumps on your back instead. If there are 30 people knocked your door, all these 30 monkeys will be on your back. Hence, you need to keep the monkey on their back and teach them how to get rid of it. And this is one of the way to train the persons.

頭先去銅鑼環商務睇左陣書,由公司到銅鑼環,要經過維園。去程時看到一班西裝男女在跑步,相信是一些團體的團隊精神訓練。到我食完飯,去埋書局回程時,見到那群男女在石春路上，一個背著另一個在石春路上走著。立即令我想到電視台的節目。有一對在石春路走著時,被著的女生竟在大叫，反而背著人的那女生沒有叫嚷著,只是喝止背上的女生不要大叫。他們全部都是穿著黑色西裝或套裝，好型,好似電影中的角色一樣。

維園!真係好多野睇!唔知佢地跟住要唔要去泳池游返廿個塘呢?

雙仙拜月亭 VS 硫磺島戰書

先說「硫磺島戰書」

好久沒看戰爭片了。這個是Clint Eastwood拍的,從家人至愛與日本士兵的往來書信，從另人被捕美軍及其母所寫的家書，從另一角度看這場早知結果的一役。

有些場面對於胆小的我著實有點難頂，對世界歷史的知識極度缺乏的我,幸好故事非常簡單。我最欣賞是其美指。整個電影基本是單色下泛著一層淡淡的彩色。告訴你這是發生在數十年前的事之餘，也提醒著現在的你,戰爭是一樣怎樣的一回事。層次很豐富,構圖亦花心思。你會記得一個軍人躺在同僚屍體中的面部大特寫及多艘美國戰艦駛進硫磺島的壯大畫面。故事節奏不俗,雖然是一個悶的主題,不過你不知不覺的把它看完。

再說「雙仙拜月亭」

除了在盂蘭節看過現場的大戲,這次是人生第一次入戲院看的現場粵劇。講的故事我們就只知一半。就是在亂世走難時,一對兄妹及一對母女,各自走失,鴛鴦錯配，變成另一對母女和夫婦。故事到此,而演了個多鐘。在中場休息時,與友人差點睡著。誠然，演員演得很好,現場唱的都很難及很好,可是經過一天的傷神工作再欣賞,有點力不從心。就這樣，與友人食飯去了。結局如何，亦不了了之。

而兩套戲都我來說，要相題並論則莫過於其音效，中國瑰寶的戲劇,大家都知那些大鑼大鼓,還幸好自幼家父愛潮劇，比粵劇更吵。至於「硫磺島戰書」,入場大概十五分鐘後，鎗聲,流彈,聲聲不絕到尾。突然頭痛！直至到睡夢之中。
